Our standard
Linford & Company LLP aims for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium.
What we've done
- Text and interactive controls meet WCAG AA color contrast ratios.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks, and labels so screen readers can navigate them.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Navigation and menus work without JavaScript.
- Layouts adapt to phones, tablets, and zoom up to 200% without losing content.
- Animation is minimal and respects your device's reduced-motion setting.
- The cookie banner and privacy settings can be operated by keyboard and screen reader.
Known limitations
Some older PDF resources and blog images may not fully meet these standards. We are reviewing them, and we'll provide any document in an accessible format on request.
